I’ve forgotten the combination to my standard combination lock. How do I obtain the combination?
Confirm that your lock has a Serial# and contact the institution that provided you with the lock. Using the Serial# they can look up your combination on their charts. Another option is to print the Lost Combination Form and complete it as indicated. Take a photocopy of the back of your lock showing the serial# and additionally write the serial# on the page so it is legible. Send the pages to Fax: 905-660-6313, 1-888-703-2948 or Mail: Padlock Distributors, 665 Millway Ave., Unit 48, Concord, ON L4K 3T8.
Note: Padlock Distributors will not provide lost combinations if you are unable to provide a photocopy of the serial#. Delivery is approximately 4 to 5 weeks from the time we receive your request.

How may I obtain my lost combination when my lock is attached to my locker, bike, cabinet, etc?
Padlock Distributors will not provide lost combinations if you are unable to prove ownership. You must be able to photocopy the back of your lock and submit it and the Lost Combination Form as explained above.

I’ve heard not all lubricants are suitable for lock maintenance. Is this true?
Never use an oil, dry graphite or silicone lubricant. Oil attracts dust and both oil and excess graphite can interfere with the moving parts and mechanisms of padlocks. We recommend a dry lubricant such as TFE Dri Lubricant. Click on “Lubricant” in the upper left menu.
